"Rotating Mirror" is a 'film cycle' a collection of 14 short films created by Greg King (member of the band rachel's). It was shot on Super 8 movie film every day for one year, then layered and structured digitally. It's a purely visual/perceptual filmic journey, a personal meditation on contemporary urban life in NYC and the city of Louisville, the grandeur of the cosmos amidst the banality of daily life, the passage of time you name it. There are a lot of themes coursing within its 49 minutes. It's scored by the music of Rachel's (including unreleased tracks!), as well as solo projects by Jason Noble (as Per Mission), and Rachel Grimes. Brady Vest of Hammerpress in Kansas City, MO designed and printed a unique letterpress-printed sleeve to house the DVD, and it's being issued in a small edition of 1000 copies.
